Roth left the moulding walls of the entire second floor unchanged and framed them. By painting the space between the frames grey he emphasized these structures´ qualities as painting. In the middle of the space he established his office. Facing a shelf with plaster casts of his figures Dieter Roth established his work table where he drew sketches and issued work orders for the Schimmelmuseum. He also thought that after a visit to the museum this was the place to eat and drink.
